SCS Utilities
27 September 2011SCS Utilities was set up in 2005 as specialists in gas mains laying. SCS now works across the electricity, gas, telecommunications, waste and water sectors, providing a range of services to develop, install, replace and maintain essential utility assets. SCS’s headquarters are located Loughgall, Armagh, supporting a number of geographically diverse business units across the UK.
SCS were existing users of the Box Telematics’ vehicle and asset tracking system, which utilises the BOX-tracker and BOX-solo products. SCS needed to equip its site in Plymouth, Devon, to extend its tracking capability for use on its company vehicles and plant equipment. SCS uses its existing tracking devices to ensure its vehicles can be immediately located and immobilised in the event of a theft and to ensure its drivers are not exceeding the speed limit.
